UPDATE, MONDAY 14 MAY 2012: Thanks to the kind generosity of those who responded to this appeal, work on the new footpath (pictured right) is now underway. For further details and a closer view of the photographs, please see our news section: Work Underway on New Footpath
THANK YOU to everyone who has supported our annual gift days in previous years: without your support St Andrew’s would be in a much poorer condition than it is today | Gift Day 2010
This year we plan to use your gifts towards resurfacing the footpath from the car park to the church, to make it more accessible for those in wheelchairs or using buggies.
Please do come along to the Church Hall on Saturday 8th Oct and we’ll be delighted to explain why we’re here and what we hope to do with your gifts to ensure that St Andrew’s can continue to serve future generations in Langford.
TEA AND COFFEE will be served and there will be a display of photographs courtesy of Langford History Society along with a sale of St Andrew’s souvenirs, home produce, cakes and books.
FLYERS WITH COLLECTION ENVELOPES are being distributed throughout the village: please use one of those envelopes for your donation, and if you pay income tax, please consider gift-aiding your donation by completing your details on the envelope. This will allow us to reclaim the tax you’ve paid: at no extra cost to you, a gift-aided donation of £10 becomes £12.50 whilst £100 becomes £125!
IF YOU’RE UNABLE to join us on the day, please deliver your envelope to The Vicarage (65 Church Street, Langford) or contact us for other options. Details of church opening times and our regular service schedule may be found on the St Andrew's homepage and our Services and Events page.
