THIS YEAR'S Summer Fayre took place from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday 7th June 2014 and raised a total of £2,000.29 for church funds, with a further £250 donated by Taylor French Developments, who sponsored the Cream Teas.
Thank you to everyone whose hard work made the afternoon so much fun and so worthwhile: from those who helped prepare and set up, through those who looked after the stalls, served refreshments and led tours of the church tower, to those who stayed on afterwards to clear up.
Thanks most of all, however, to everyone who came along on what proved to be a surprisingly bright and sunny afternoon, with magnificent views for those who ventured to the top of the tower: without your generous support and enthusiasm, whatever would have become of those wonderful cakes and cream teas, let alone all the stallholders? Special thanks to our photographer, Roger Donnelly: mouse over or touch the thumbnails alongside the big pictures for a closer look.
